AI Annex

The AI Annex sets out Mode A and Mode B, the use of external AI models, the training and fine-tuning prohibition, and your obligations as deployer under the EU AI Act and the GDPR. It references the public pages on this Trust Center, which makes the contract reproducible at every later date.

What's in the annex

Mode A as the default and the conditions under which Mode B can be activated. The training and fine-tuning prohibition that binds Localign and every external model provider engaged under Mode B. The deployer's obligations under articles 14 (oversight), 27 (FRIA) and 50 (transparency) of the EU AI Act. The customer attestation against article 5 prohibited practices. Before you sign

If your use is high-risk under the AI Act, expect to perform a Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment (FRIA) — Localign supplies starter content. If your sector has its own confidentiality regime (healthcare, legal, government), confirm with us during onboarding that the matching sectoral annex is attached. The annex itself does not need to be re-signed for routine product changes; material changes are notified through the contact in your DPA.
